Andy, Mark and family, Richard, Erin and Jason, Liz, Graham and Rod, with support from Alex and his family, ran the Have-A-Go archery stand at the Burpham Fete in an ideal position shooting towards the old Saxon Rampart.I think we had even more punters than the Teddy Trebuchet two stands down the row. The Rook shoot was popular with the farming community, but nobody managed to hit three rooks or knights.

Queen of Clout's Reign continues
Four Southern Counties Champs in a row for Liz AND Jon is the Southern Counties Gent's Champion, also coming third overall behind the current National Gold and Silver medal holders and beating the current bronze medal holder in the process (he's the one standing outside under an umbrella in the picture below).
There was another group triumph as well - Sussex won the Team competition, and three of the four members (Liz, Jon and Rod) were from Arundown, the fourth, Richard Britton shooting barebow, from Plumpton.
It was VERY windy all day (as usual for this shoot, only more so), and the rain started to come down just after the end of the shoot while we were waiting for the results.
