Bowflights Clout Shoot, Birmingham

A very successful day was had in Birmingham yesterday by our Clout shooters. Although the field was rather wet under foot, and resembled more of a bog by the end of the day, the weather was kind to us.

The results saw a battle for the Gents trophy, with Jon Stafford coming out on top for recurve with a score of 159, with Russell French a very close third with 156. Liz Bowyer collected the Ladies trophy for recurve with a score of 225, which also earned her a gold tassel award, even though she was only going for the red one! The three shredded wheat for breakfast obviously worked!
