Nine County Records tumbled in this year's shoot, and two were claimed by Arundown Juniors : Marc beat our one-time Associate Member Will Martin's Single-Round Recurve Score, and Lance took the Junior Barebow Double Round Record as well as being quite close to the single Round Record. Our Associate Member Michaela continues to move steadily onwards, and pushed her existing Single and Double Round Barebow Records up by comfortable margins. And Dave Wakeford from Chichester finally did what many have almost done, get a perfect double round. He's the first Sussex Compound Archer to do that at a tournament, although we had a visitor from Hampshire who did it, and on a single-spot Worcester face (Dave was using a 5-spot)
It was great to see a good bunch of Visitors from outside Sussex, a long way to travel from Surrey, Kent and Essex on a cold day. And don't let's forget Hastings is further away than Reigate, so some Sussex people have quite a trek.
